A Convenient Stop for Families Near LEGOLANDOur recent family stay at Hotel Sonnenkeller in Neu-Ulm was a practical choice for visiting LEGOLAND, and it met our needs as a budget option. While our room was smaller than anticipated, it was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful night’s sleep for our 1.5-year-old son, thanks to the crib provided. The small balcony allowed us to enjoy the fresh air during the evenings. Breakfast was commendable, featuring a wide variety of options suitable for all ages—a perfect start for our busy days. We appreciated the underground parking, which is offered without additional fees, ensuring convenience during our travels. The hotel’s location is key, situated conveniently near attractions like the Ulm Zoo and Atlantis leisure baths, perfect for family outings. Our dining experience was enhanced by a Chinese restaurant next door, and a supermarket at the base level made for easy access to essentials, although it was closed on Sundays. While the bathroom could use some refurbishment and our greeting lacked warmth compared to previous visits, the overall experience remained satisfactory for our short stay. For families seeking practicality and accessibility, Hotel Sonnenkeller is a reasonable option.
